Top Tower Defense Games Performance on Android in Russia, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the tower defense genre on Android in Russia showcased intriguing trends. According to Sensor Tower data, the following insights highlight the performance of the top games in this category.

Plants vs. Zombies™ from ELECTRONIC ARTS observed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 90.9K at the beginning of January to about 36.9K by the end of March. Despite this, it maintained a strong presence with weekly active users decreasing from 818K to around 337K over the quarter.

Stick Hero: Tower Defense by Galaxy Astronaut Games showed fluctuating download numbers, beginning with 25K and peaking at 55.7K in early February. Active users increased significantly, reaching over 201K in February before stabilizing at approximately 127K by the end of March.

Kingdom Guard: Tower Defense from Tap4fun experienced a notable drop in downloads from 93.8K to 15.8K. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 297K and ending at around 68.4K, depicting a significant decline over the quarter.

Plants vs Zombies™ 2 also from ELECTRONIC ARTS, saw a consistent decrease in downloads, beginning at 42.9K and tapering to 19.9K. Active user numbers fell from 419K to 217K, indicating a downward trend throughout the quarter.

Finally, Space Survivor by iStar Technology Investment Co Ltd, experienced a varied download pattern, starting at 32.5K, with a notable increase to 20.6K at the end of March. Active users decreased initially but showed recovery, rising from 33K in early March to 77.5K by the end of the quarter.
